The Edinburgh Sleep Centre is a leader in the provision of diagnostic and treatment services for people with Sleep Disorders and related medical and psychological disorders.
We have expertise in the assessment and treatment of all
types of Sleep Disorders from breathing-related sleep disorders such as Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) to Insomnia, Narcolepsy, and sleep disturbed by psychiatric and medical conditions.
Schemes are available for organisation's occupational health departments as well as individual executive management. The centre's association with the London Sleep Centre means that treatments are available to patients from all parts of the country.
Other activities The centre is also involved with both medical professionals (psychiatrists, neurologists, ENT surgeons, occupational health) as well as other health and wellbeing professionals (e.g. psychologists and nutritionists) who help provide an integrated, multi-speciality approach to the treatment of sleep, fatigue and related disorders.
This years's charity Edinburgh Fringe show "Sleep, a user's guide (galactic edition)" supports Parkinsons UK. Parkinson's is most well known as a movement disorder but sufferers also endure many sleep disorders such as: REM Behaviour Disorder, insomnia, nocturnal hallucinations, Restless Legs Syndrome, Periodic Limb Movement Disorder, Sleep Apnoea, too name but a few.' The show, in a lighthearted way, provides an annual update on sleep research and sleep medicine.
