The Edinburgh Sleep Centre is a private clinic that accepts referrals from General Practitioners and other Medical Specialists. We accept direct patient referrals where the patients are self funding.

Private Health Insurance
Our Specialists are recognised by most of the UK Private Health Care companies and by the major International Health Insurance companies. It is the responsibility of the patient to obtain a pre-authorisation from the insurance company prior to your appointment.

NHS Patients
If you are an NHS patient and are unable to obtain a timely consultation and treatment on the NHS, then your general practitioner may still be able to arrange your Diagnosis and Treatment at The Edinburgh Sleep Centre. Your General Practitioner will need to make representations on your behalf - if he contacts us we will tell him how.

Research Projects
If you do not have Private Medical Insurance or are not in a position to pay directly for our services, you may wish to be considered for one of our Research Projects
